Support a Young Dancer's Dream!
This fundraiser is for a young girl going into 3rd grade, who I recently taught dance to at Don Bosco Community Center. During the month of the teacher, she was very engaged and would come into class every day excited and ready to learn. It was also clear she was very gifted at dance when taught that she could learn multiple fundamental dance skills years ahead of what is typically taught to kids her age. While teaching her, I asked her about her dance moves, and she informed me that she loved dance but could not take it due to financial issues. During the final week of dance class, I decided to take all of the money I would be gaining from working at the community center and put it towards a scholarship award that would be given to her to pay for years worth of dance. With the money raised, it will all be put towards the scholarship so that she can continue to dance as she grows up and will never have to worry about paying to do what she loves. I hope to continue this scholarship to not just this young girl but for many others who hope to have the same future in dance. With your continued generosity, we plan to support many more young dancers’ dreams! All donations will go to support providing classes for students at Dream Dance Studio.
